Hari Panitia 2012

Yesterday was the first day of Minggu Panitia! And in conjunction with that, SINDEX prepared all our projects for all of Lok Yuk to see.

We started preparing for everything at 7am (last minute preparations) so that means we get to skip the weekly assembly! But the timing was crap because our beloved principle, who was in the hospital for an operation and still recovering, made a speech. It must've been nice to be called kerbaus and monyets after all this while. Haaahh... good memories of Lok Yuk. And I heard a fan exploded! How did that happen I don't know.

Whenever I am absent from school, cool things always happens. Is this fate? Like things automatically get boring in my presence?

Anyways, so we decorated the board in front of the physics lab and decorated the info board at the back. And nobody paid attention to either boards which felt like an arrow to the butthole. But that's okay. Because they paid attention to our inventions!

This might sound dorky and loserish but I never thought that people would be interested in our inventions or in what we have to say. My greatest fear that day was that some kid would walk away while I was talking and then I would have to pick up a fight and then I would get beat up. Or that someone wouldn't understand what I was talking about and I would panic and cry, followed by a dramatic scream while convulsing on the floor. And people would be pointing at me, laughing.... *shudders

Lol no la, the worst that would happen is I'd give an awkward giggle.

But even that didn't happen!! Everyone was interested and everyone listened and everyone was so nice! I even heard some girls saying they're interested to join SINDEX next year!! Too bad I didn't bring my camera or we would've taken a LOT of pics.

However, Vanissa's group had more audience than us because we didn't have the prototypes for our invention. Boohoo. Next time! *shakes fist

The only thing that I am mildly sad about is that I didn't get a chance to check out the other booths. I did see the singing though, and it was uh.... okay... *shifty eyes

But the fact that I got to skip classes was more than enough to compensate that! I know that skipping classes is a bad thing, but it doesn't make a difference to me. I still eat and poop the same way after all.

And then, this pharmacy sent some people to explain about medicines and how to know if it is safe or not. All we had to do was listen and we'd get free pens!!

Me : Can we have the pens?
The guy : Yeah yeah! Of course. Take some.
Me : Can we have like, a lot?
The guy : How bout you take like, one?
Me : Lol okay.

Lolololol.

SFA 2nd Fencing Tournament... Is That What Its Called?

Hey its me!!!

I took this picture right after I lost a fencing match. Notice how pale I look?

Look at those fencers who went to the next round... *crawls to a corner

During this tournament, I was really not in the mood to fence. Mostly because there were no friends and that the equipment we were given was so bad, we might as well throw turds at each other. The 'referee' had to stop a lot of times because my blade had a lot of problems. But then it turns out that it was my wire that was the problem... but that's just as bad! And the breeches! Gurl, don't get me started on the breeches! Because the breeches' zip was broken so my zip was hard to pull up!! There I was, like a complete retard struggling with my pants zip. It looked VERY VERY VERY VERY wrong.

A guy named Adam was the 'referee' (I don't know the specific title) and when he was trying to fix my blade for the umpteenth time, he took another blade and parried me (parry is to hit my blade with his blade) and OMG it was so strong the parry almost knocked me over. Haha, no wonder la cause he's an international fencer. And he's from my school, Lok Yuk too! *thumbs up. His parry was also so fast, like half a second for two parries. Okay, I'm probably exaggerating.

Oh yeah! Do you see the Milo banner in the picture? Well, thats because Milo sponsored the tournament and brought a huge truck full of cold Milo! I probably drank about 50 small cups haha. This, I did not exaggerate.

And I don't know why la, but I get a lot of advice when I go to fencing. Because right after I took the first picture, the Milo uncle gave me some tips on winning. At first I was a bit skeptical because who is this uncle to tell me how to fence?! But then, he's not just any uncle, he's a Milo van uncle so he must have been to a lot of sport tournaments. Soooo, I just listen la. He told me to steal tactics from the professional ones. Learn the tricks and cheats. Hmmm, yeah, I could probably give it a try.

I already know who to observe. This gorgeous tall girl from UMS called Renee. She beat me with a score of 15-0!! T___T In less than 2 minutes again that!!!

Actually no, it wasn't even a bit close. 15-0!! Can you believe that?

What a shame that I didn't take a picture of myself in my fencing gear and everything. Sigh, oh well! As Mdm. Tan, a teacher said, I looked like a woman warrior.

I also broke a nail! The sacrifices of being a woman warrior. The broken nail is at the index finger btw.

Maybe I'll have more luck next time la.. At least I did better than my first competition last year, where I just decided to quit epee fencing tournament. Now I'm just concentrating on foil fencing.

Caroline-unnie

How we met ah? Well, we were both 14-year-old geniuses so we got to be in the same class in Form 2. And on the first week, Pn. Pang aka Fate made us both sit next to each other at the back of the class, the perfect place for mischief.

Her first thought of me was, "Oh great, now I have to speak English ALL the time." But I surprised her by being able to speak Malay bha! Being at he back of the class, there are alot of things we did.

Talking about our crushes from All Saints, our neighbour school. And our crushes were friends again that! Fate I tell you, fate! But after that, you kept teasing me about my crush.

Giving ourselves nicknames. She was fish because of a certain maths teacher's failure to pronounce 'fish' correctly. And I was whale because one day, I laughed so hard while drinking water that I had water sprouting out of my nose.

And then I remembered the time she popped one of my pimples which I refused to pop, claiming that it will heal faster. (It did!)

And I remembered I pissed her off when I disturbed her while she was colouring her moral poster. Hahahahahaaha!!

And last year, she got obsessed with Taiwan and Aaron Yan (while I got obsessed with Mathias). I thought that Aaron was gay looking and wore eyeliner. But Caroline insisted that he DOES NOT! *skeptical

And then and then! Last year, she was the only one who accompanied me to go to the epee fencing tournament while everybody else was chilling. In the end, I thought 'Screw this!' And quitted the tournament though.

And now, she's one of the very first loyal reader in my blog! Yay!!!

So.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAROLINE-UNNIE! You're sixteen now which officially makes you older than me until my own birthday. Hiya, could it really have been only 2 years ago when we were making silly nicknames?

Stuff I Bought In Watsons

Remember how my parents picked me up late at night because they forgot about me?

Well, my mom apologized by taking me shopping in Watsons!! I love Watsons!! I love the soap and makeup and the always-there-discounts!

If there was any shop that I can work part-time, it would be Watsons, no doubt.

These are the stuff I bought.

Actually, I did not buy so much stuff....

Moisturiser
ZA Total Hydration Foamy Cleanser
Watsons Cream Shampoo (Lavender)
Watsons Body Lotion (Lavender)
Watsons Cream Body Wash (Rose)
IN2IT Foundation
Shavers

The moisturiser sucked. Sucky sucky sucky. Why? Because it leaves my face feeling oily and it doesn't absorb easily. I don't know what brand it is because I tore out the ugly sticker because, well, its ugly.

The cleanser is amazing!!!! My skin felt so moisturised after using it and it foams easily, so no need to use a lot. It was on sale so I bought it cheap. *cheapskate haha. Normally when I use other cleansers, my skin would feel so dry it hurts if I don't use a moisturiser, but now it doesn't! *big shiny eyes!

The Watsons brand items are really nice smelling. The lavender is to relax me and I bought the rose only because its pink. But the rose body wash really made my skin velvety feeling oh!! Only RM 10 each.

The foundation sucked too. It didn't give me the coverage I needed to cover my spots but maybe when my skin is fully healed I would use it just to illuminate my skin a bit. But for now, I'm still not using makeup so my skin will breathe But I caved in today and put a teeny tiny bit though.

And the shavers are like normal. They last a lot of uses so I like that. And the colour is pink and purple!
